Growing property management firm strengthens South Manchester footprint through strategic acquisition

Orlando Reid has bolstered its property management operations through the acquisition of Bergins, a longstanding lettings specialist with deep roots in South Manchester's Northenden and Wythenshawe markets.
Marking Orlando Reid's opening acquisition of 2026, the transaction brings more than 250 managed properties into the firm's expanding portfolio, directly supporting its nationwide expansion objectives. To preserve service quality and client relationships, the complete Bergins team will be retained, ensuring operational continuity for both property owners and tenants.
Managing director Baljit Arora emphasized the strategic value of the deal: "Bergins has cultivated a reputation for reliability and client retention, commanding significant market share in Northenden and Wythenshawe. We're pleased to integrate their seasoned professionals and established client relationships into the Orlando Reid ecosystem.
"This transaction represents a pivotal milestone in our expansion roadmap as we scale our managed property count and deepen our South Manchester market penetration."
The Bergins integration directly advances Orlando Reid's growth trajectory, which targets a managed portfolio of 2,500 properties across the group by year-end 2027.
In recent years, Orlando Reid has systematically broadened its service capabilities across the property sector, delivering investment advisory, sales transactions, lettings facilitation, and comprehensive management solutions to both domestic and international property investors.
