Movera reports strong growth and hiring drive as completions surge

Conveyancing specialist Movera has delivered a substantial 33% year-on-year increase in completed sale and purchase transactions throughout 2025, driven by strategic expansion across its ONP Solicitors and Cavendish operations as market demand intensifies.

The firm achieved a significant operational benchmark when ONP Solicitors' remortgage division processed 5,000 cases within a 24-hour period—a feat accomplished on two separate occasions. Supporting this momentum, Movera has onboarded over 150 professionals while simultaneously broadening its regional presence through strategic office expansion.

The organization's workforce now exceeds 650 employees, bolstered by nearly 100 newly recruited conveyancers alongside a specialized Know Your Client team established to accelerate source-of-funds verification processes and enhance overall transaction velocity.

Nick Hale, CEO at Movera said: "These results reflect sustained investment across our talent base, operational frameworks, and technological infrastructure. We've focused on scaling capacity while maintaining service standards as we pursue our core objective—transforming the residential property transaction experience for our teams, industry partners, and end clients.

"Industry data from Landmark Information Group indicates UK purchase transactions averaged 123 days from instruction through completion last year. At Movera, we're committed to modernizing legacy workflows and fundamentally reshaping the homebuying experience—reducing transaction timelines and restoring the excitement that should accompany property ownership rather than administrative burden."

The conveyancing group recently announced it compressed transaction timelines to just three days between draft contract receipt and completion through a collaborative initiative with Connells Group and iamproperty. This achievement stemmed from cross-organizational dedicated teams and process reengineering designed to eliminate friction points in shared transactions.

Management indicated plans to extend similar collaborative frameworks with additional stakeholders throughout the conveyancing ecosystem to drive further efficiency gains.

"Our collaboration with Connells and iamproperty validates how significantly transaction efficiency remains within industry control," Hale added. "As we advance through 2026, we're continuing to pioneer innovative approaches and forge strategic partnerships across the transaction chain, enabling collective improvement in the property transfer experience that benefits all participants."

Throughout 2025, Movera executed two comprehensive rebranding initiatives, modernizing Cavendish alongside its conveyancing referral platform CAL, which now operates under a unified brand architecture featuring Broker Conveyancing and Agent Conveyancing as distinct product offerings.

The group has augmented its central London facilities, established and subsequently expanded an ONP Solicitors location in Cardiff during the 2025-2026 period, and transitioned its Leeds operation to higher-capacity premises. The organization currently maintains seven brands distributed across five UK operational hubs.
